Concordia Youth & Family Ministry Serving Children & Families
Mission Statement We offer a safe, fun and positive environment for children and teens. We nourish our minds through kindness, love and the spiritual teachings of the Science of Mind.
We accomplish our mission by introducing the Principles of Science of Mind to provide a healthy spiritual foundation that focuses on the power of positive thought. We also teach that God is not “out there” or “up there somewhere,” but within each and every one of us and that the power of our thought co-creates conditions in our lives.
Some of the activities children can expect each week: • Gratitude Journals • A story that relates to the weekly theme with discussion following the story • Group connection exercises • Make it-take it craft that reinforces theme • Guided Meditations Children go up on stage in front of the Community periodically to share what they’ve learned.
